Well, it’s definitely not as weird as teeth, but I have a New York Rangers baseball jersey.
Drop the puck already!
It’s a tie between Theo Fleury’s signed spleen and Grant Fuhr’s jock strap (signed as well)
A “Kariya road pack”.
Kariya was apparently very particular about the various types of tape he used (purple cloth for socks, black cloth for stick blade and surgical tape for the stick handle.
The training staff had these 3 different tapes combined in one, sealed plastic bag that was labeled the “Kariya Road Pack”. I grabbed one because I thought it was odd, unique and VERY symbolic of Kariya’s meticulous nature wehen it came to his habits and his gear.
I have some RBK Red Wing sandals, i don’t think there weird though, maybe a little different.
I have a signed pic of Joey Dipenta from a cookbook. I wouldn’t cal lthat weird though.
I have a package of sugar i got at maple leaf gardens before it closed. I have it framed and it sits on my wall unit.
haha.. i had i ball guard given to me from my brother’s hocky team coach that is like 20 yrs old and it doesen’t ecen fit me
Sugar packets from Jagr’s Sports bar in the Czech Republic.
I have a Mario Duck . Not a live one. It is a Duck’s body dressed in a Pens uniform with Mario’s # and face with a Duck’s bill.
I have Jason Varitek’ s old abdominal dressing and a pair of Brandy Chastain’s clamming sneakers.
A piece of concrete from Veteran’s stadium and a brick from the Montreal Forum.
I don’t have any weird ones. But my boyfriend has a nice battle wound trying to get a teeshirt that players were throwing at the end of a game. He probably would’ve dove onto the ice if he could. He recently recieved another one at Shea. Word of advice, never dive onto concerete.
I don’t know if you’d call it wierd, but it’s something I love. I have a puck for a team called the Albany Choppers. Who only played a half of a season in the old IHL. They had Mario Lemieux’s brother Alain.
a really good friend of mine bought two seats from the Montreal forum
